Below are shields bearing the arms of Oswald Blüwler, Councillor of Zug, and his two wives Anna Maria Merzi (Mertzin?) and Anna Landtwing (Landtwingin?), with the inscription:
Hr. Oswald Blüwler des grossen Raths Zug Und Frauw Anna Maria Merzi (Mertzin?) deren Gott gnad. Und Frauw Anna Landtwing (Landtwingin?) Seine Ehgmachel. Anno 1680.
Swiss. Diameter: 7 1/8".

The three shields are surmounted by a helmet with crest and mantling. The painting is in dark brown, silver-yellow and enamel colours.
