Leo and Gretl Wollner studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna in the period of WWII. They went on to work for Josef Hoffman. In the 1950s to 1960s they designed for textiles and carpets, winning many awards. They also produced their own hand handwoven rugs for floors and walls.
