The Cult of White
Although they were sold as versatile and comfortable, these men’s white loafers by London shoe designer Patrick Cox are clearly also impractical. White does not stay pristine for long, unless the wearer is being chauffeured to every destination, so it is an obviously opulent choice. The shoes represent the casual confidence of the rich and were favoured by pop stars.
