Place of origin

The Satina pendant lighting fitting was chosen by the judges of the Design Centre Awards in 1958 " in this particular shade for the quality of the satin finished opal glassware, which is attractive both lit and unlit, the delicacy of the bracket arms; the unostentatious use of brass in combination with black rods; and the general elegance of the range in all sizes. Ease of assembly and accessibility for cleaning and lamp replacement have also been carefully considered in these designs."
