CHANDELIER ROD Wrought iron Germany; 17th century From Trier. This rod almost certainly came from a church, and was most likely painted and gilded. A chandelier would have hung from a hook at the bottom. There are some English examples at the other end of the Gallery. Museum No. 998-1893(07/1994)
