Door of carved walnut in a pinewood frame. It bears shields of Lugo or Galicia and allied families. Each of the eleven panels contains a shield of arms, arranged as follows: in the centre, Lugo of Galicia; in the outer panels (1) A tree and a bird on the ground at its base, not identified; (2) Castilla; (3) Cardenas (of Extremadura?); (4) Probably Rodriguez della Millia of Andalusia; (5) a lion rampant holding a fleur-de-lys in the right fore-paw, not identified; (6) a bend between two eagles heads, not identified; (7) probably Rodriguez della Millia of Andalusia; (8) a cross flory with a castle on the centre and on the extremity of each limb, not identified; (9) Zapata of Castile; and (10) Mendoza (de la Vega?) of Castile. On the back is an iron latch.
