Mini-dress with a high, round neckline, printed with a swirling art-nouveau inspired pattern in shades of blue, white and purple. Pale blue marabou feathers adorn the hem, the cuff of the dress' single long-sleeve, and the length of the single caped-sleeve. The dress is constructed from lightweight, semi-sheer chiffon, made from Bri-Nova nylon, a synthetic yarn developed by Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) who also developed the textile Crimplene. Designed by Pierre Cardin for London based retailer Miss Selfridge, in 1969.
