Cushion cover of natural silk with a large central flower head with decorated centre. The four corners have freely painted leafy motifs and four sides dark panels decorated with red circles. The prevailing colour is a brownish purple probably originally was a bright purple relieved by yellow ochre and red. The lining is made of a beige silk and the cover has remnants of a earlier purple lining.

Physical description
