Warp: green silk, Z3S, 36 threads per inch (154 per dm), depressed. Weft: red silk and wool, 3 shoots of weft after each row of knots, 11 knots per inch (44 per dm). 1st shoot: S-spun unplied threads of wool, 2nd: broader shoot of untwisted silk. Pile: wool and cotton, 7 colours, red, dark green, green, dark blue, light blue, light brown, white (cotton). Asymmetrical knot open to the left and tied around 2 threads. 198 knots per square inch (3,388 per sq dm).
