Woven Silk velvet brocade with vertical and horizontal point repeat with 4 minimum pattern areas. Satin Foundation structure 4/1 satin; silk, ivory; thin. Weft: cotton; 1 strand. Satin & velvet warp order 3-1-2. Velvet structure: silk, red and green. Pile counts, warps 19, along weft 16. Binding weft threads: silk, supper skinny white untwisted. Brocade structure: wholly brocaded? whole , 4/1 twill, count 13. Shots between pile 2. Metal & twist: gilt? silver? S tightness of wrap: medium. 4/1 twill brocade slightly variable. Selvedges> Dimensions not taken. Several bands of different weaves: one side has: red pile warp + cotton foundation; one band of black warp; the other side has green pile warp and cotton foundation and a blue layer.
