Furnishing fabric of copper plate-printed linen. Printed in blue on a white linen ground with a chinoiserie design. Spreading across the panel is a slender tree with flowers. In the branches of several smaller trees are parrots and birds. In the centre is a Chinese figure in a pagoda, repeated twice in its height, leaning over a fence with slats. At the foot of the tree trunk is half a bridge. On a rocky spike to the right of the central figure is inscribed 'ROBINSON Balls Bridge'.
