Stevengraph picture woven in silk and mounted on card. With a portrait of jockey Frederick James Archer (1857-1886). He is wearing Lord Falmouth's racing colours consisting of a black jacket with white sleeves and red cap against a shaded white background. There is a facsimile of Archer's signature below on the right. On a beige mount inscribed 'The Late Fred. Archer' and 'Woven in pure silk by T. Stevens, Coventry' On the back of the mount is a long and detailed biographical note on Mr Archer.
