The picture shows a steeplechase with seven horses at a hedge jumping from left to right and there is a wooded hill with a church steeple silhouetted in the top right corner. Woven mainly in green, brown and red silks. Printed on the front of the beige mount is 'The Water Jump'. On the reverse is a trade label printed in 1898.
