Dress of brown printed cotton with small floral motif (possibly discharge printed). Full length and high waisted, with ruffles at the cuffs, hem and neck, and puffs at the shoulders. The slip is plain white cotton, has shaped sides, a square neck and short sleeves. The hem is faced with a band of slightly finer cotton. Stitched with linen. Front bodice and sleeves are bias cut.

Physical description
