Needlecase and six packets of needles. Stiff card covered with maroon-coloured imitation leather. The case has a sloping top and fastens with a tab and slot.

Inside are six packets of steel needles. The packets are of black paper with green labels which are inscribed: 'Cutlers to the Queen / THORNHILLS / No. / SUPERIOR / DIAMOND / Drill'd Ey'd / NEEDLES. / 144 New Bond Street'.

The number of needles are added in ink: Nos. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
