Cap panel of black silk velvet, embroidered with silver thread, and further enriched with gilt metal beads and pieces of faceted pale blue glass. The embroidery is raised by being worked over cardboard. Two curved leafy stems crossing one another, bearing flowers and berries. At back there is a canvas lining, thickly pasted over, and a sheet of paper printed in German characters.
