Cap panel of black silk velvet, embroidered with silver thread, and further enriched with copper-gilt spangles and beads, and small pieces of faceted green glass. The embroidery is raised by being worked over cardboard. Encircling arrangement of two slender leafy stems crossing one another beneath, and bearing conventional flowers, on a ground covered with spangles. On back is a canvas pasted lining and piece of thin brown paper.
