Cap panel of purple silk velvet, embroidered with silver thread, and further enriched with copper-gilt thread and spangles, and small pieces of faceted red and blue glass. The embroidery is raised by being worked over cardboard. Encircling arrangement of two leafy stems crossing one another beneath, and bearing conventional flowers. On back there is a linen lining, and there are two sheets of paper.
