Man’s baldric made of leather, covered and lined with cream silk taffeta. It is couched with silver and silver-gilt filé and purl over thick padding, in a pattern of large scrolling stems with abstract flowers and leaves. There are no metal fittings; the straps and hanger are stitched together.

The front strap has been attached to the wrong edge of the hanger.
