Woven cotton table cloth. Jacquard woven cloth showing a repeating design with border decoration with a woollen fringe.

Woven in shades of blue, yellow, green and white, and the central design shows a small-scale blue and white chequereboard in which is repeated a motif in half drop of two lemons with leaves and stems. The border shows a repeating design of curving stems with two large stylised square roses in yellow and with green leaves. There are outer guard stripes of yellow and white with a blue border edge.

The fringe consists of plain blue wool sewn to the edge and crossed to form a lattice work effect.

The pattern colours are contained in the warp of the fabric, the weft consisting of alternate yellow and blue cottons with a fine black binding warp.
