Top half of a pillow bier of fine bleached linen embroidered with black silk thread in a pattern of scrolling vines, leaves and grapes. The outlines are worked in plaited braid stitch, the grapes in chain and stem stitch and the leaves filled in with geometric patterns of counted-thread stitch.
