Bonnet veil of black machine-made lace. Wide bonnet made on a pusher lace machine. Net ground patterned with an all-over design of floral diamonds containing sprigs. The top edge has a row of 'bullet' holes to take the drawstring and the remaining sides are scalloped and decorated with floral swags and fancy fillings. Parts of the pattern are outlines with a hand-run cordonnet and the picot edging is also attached by hand.
