Framed and double sided hinged sewing case of approximately ogival form with a push button catch. It is made from stiffened black leather with an impressed cross hatch design and has a steel frame and carrying chain. It is lined in red silk. Centrally there is a pocket with a polished steel lever catch marked 'BREVETE S.G.D.G' with 2 plain pockets to one side and on the other a pocket and a flap fitted to receive cut steel toilet cum sewing implements with hinged Brackets to hold it in position. These comprise a polished steel needle case, nail file and cleaner stiletto bodkin and needles. These are in a black paper packet with a blue label and inscription. This side of the Reticule has the lining arranged as a bag with a draw string.
