Morning suit consisting of a black woollen jacket, trousers and waistcoat and white corded cotton waistcoat protector.

Single-breasted jacket with a swallow tail. Single button fastening and wide curved lapels. Seam at the waist, and a slit behind flanked by a mock stitched pleat. A silk button is stitched at the junction of the waist seam and pleat. There are two pockets in the tail and three inside pockets in the black twilled silk lining.

Single-breasted waistcoat with 5 button fastenings, high angular lapel and four welted pockets. A white pique collar is buttoned inside the neck. The back is of black twilled silk and there is a buckle stay to the back of which is stitched a tailor's label. Lined with blue striped white cotton.

Black pin-stripe trousers with tapering to shaped bottoms.
