Letter case of embroidered silk. Pale green silk stiffened with card and lined with white taffeta. It contains two compartments and closes with a fold-over flap. All the edges are decorated with a fine ivory-coloured silk cord. The flat and front are embroidered with single floral sprays. On the back is a floral medallion containing the word 'souvenir'. The two inside surfaces are also worked with medallions containing sprays of flowers. It is finely embroidered with coloured silks in diagonal cross-stitch, stem, satin, long and short and split stitches with French knots.
