Black silk dress with spotted black net overlay decorated with silver pailettes, consisting of a bodice and skirt. The boned waist-length bodice has a low neckline, short frilled sleeves, with centre front hook and eye fastening, and decorated with frills and black satin bows. The long skirt has a train with a band of black velvet at the hem and a centre back fastening of two hooks and three 'Nicholls patent' dress fasteners.
