Object history | Registered File number 1987/997. The embroidery was owned by the mother of the donor. Helbronner was an old established firm of embroiderers, suppliers of embroidery materials, and, from the 1890s, furnishing fabrics. They exhibited at the 1851 Exhibition from their premises, then in Oxford Street. In 1889 they exhibited items at the 'Arts and Crafts Exhibition' in Regent Street. |
