Bag made of canvas, embroidered with wool in a cross-stitch design and with small gold beads. The border is embroidered in satin stitch. The body is covered with an all-over chequer pattern in pale blue, and with a cruciform pattern in each, in shades of red, green and purple. The beads are stitched at the corners of the squares. The bag is rectangular, bound at the top with a twisted silk cord in shades of green, and with two carry cords which have moulded gilt sliders to hold it closed. At each corner is a tassel in shades of green silk chenille. Lined with cream silk.
