Dress panel of embroidered silk. Full width panel of pale cream ribbed tabby silk, 0.19 inch selvedges woven in narrow green and tan stripes, and embroidered with shaded twisted silk in long and short, satin and stem stitches with French knots. The dominant colours are mauve, red, green and blue.
With stiff sprays of exotic flowers set within a diaper of twisted ribbons and along the lower edge and the first 34.5 inches of the right hand edge. There is a scrolling stem bearing exotic blooms. The lower edge has been turned and faced and the first 34.5 inches of the right hand edge is turned under.
