Plaquette Adoration of the infant Christ, lead. Italian 16th cent by Caraglio.
Physical description
Plaquette in lead, the Adoration of the infant Christ. To the right, the Virgin and St. Joseph kneeling before the Child, who lies on the ground. Behind them are the ox and ass and some buildings. From the left advance three figures, one with a basket on her head. Above the rays of the star. Plain narrow rim, pierced hole at the top.
