Place of origin |
This and a companion relief (7449-1861) may have formed the end panels of a predella. They appear to be the work of a Neapolitan sculptor under the influence of Benedetto da Majano. The kneeling figure in Benedictine habit perhaps represents the donor of the altarpiece.
