This alabaster panel represents the assumption of the Virgin Mary into Heaven after her death. The Virgin is shown with her hands folded together standing in a mandorla upheld by six angels, four of whom are flying. St Thomas is shown kneeling in the bottom left of the panel, holding the Virgin's girdle. Above the three persons of the Trinity, enthroned, place a crown on the Virgin's head. The crown is also held by two angels and four more angels appear behind the Trinity and another by the Virgin's feet.

Physical description
Relief, alabaster. The Virgin with hands folded together stands in a mandorla upheld by six angels, four of whom are flying. St. Thomas with the Virgin's girdle kneels (bottom left). Above the three persons of the Trinity enthroned place a crown on the Virgin's head. The crown is held also by two angels. Foru more angels are beside but behind the Trinity. Another angel is at the Virgin's feet. Traces of colour. The panel is in bad condition. It is backed with slate. The head of Christ and the heads of most of the angels are missing. A large portion, bottom right, has been made up with plaster.
