Statuette Virgin and Child. Oak wood English 15th century.
Physical description
Statuette in oak, the Virgin and Child. The Virgin is seated supporting the seated Child on her left hand. The Child has a loose drapery; the Virgin, whose head is bare with long hair falling on her shoulders, wears a voluminous mantle over a robe confined at the waist by a strap. The Virgin's right hand, both the Child's arms and his left leg are missing. The top of the Virgin's head is much damaged.
