This statue representing St. Catherine was probably made in the early 16th century Flanders or Northern France. This has much been repaired: the hands, sword, book, crown, Maximinus's sceptre are entirely modern, and her cloak and dress have also been repaired in several places.

Physical description | Figure in oak, St. Catherine. The saint stands looking straight before her, with a crown on her head. In her right-hand she holds a sword, the point of which rests on the head of the Emperor Maximinus, who she tramples under-foot. In the other hand she holds a book. |
