Physical description | Medal depicts on the obverse an inscription and the conjured busts of King and Queen to the left. On the reverse on the left are seated figures of the King and Queen receiving an address from the City of London in the guise of a woman, draped and wearing a mural crown. On the right is a figure of Fame, proclaiming the event, and in the background, the Guildhall. In the left lower corner are sprigs of myrtle with a scroll entwined bearing the motto CIVIVM AMOR ET FIDES. |
