Physical description | Obverse: Ceres wearing classical robes holds a scythe in her right hand and stands to the left of the group. In her left hand she holds a sheaf of corn. Next to Ceres stands Vulcan with the representation of a machinery next to him. He holds with both hands a handle which is connected to this machinery. In front of a further sheaf of corn which is positioned in front of Ceres and Vulcan, sits a putto. Reverse: Inscription. |
