This statuette represents a male nude wearing a helmet, with his head turned to the righ and his right arm raised and a sword held behind his body in the left hand.
Dr Hildburgh, who donated this object to the museum suggested that it was a direct cast from the model made by Cellini in preparation for his statue of Mars at Fontainebleau. However this opinion is not substantiated and the style of the statue is not closely related to this work.
