Object history | The paper mould from which this cast was made was presented to the museum by Gertrude Bell in 1907, as part of a group of three paper moulds of architectural details from Asia Minor. Taken from departmental record: 'The original, of stone, forms part of a doorway of a monastery attached to a chapel at Waouleh, near the hills, known as Kara Wagh, near Konia.' |
