Statuette, Virgin and Child; Limestone English 2nd half of the 14th century.
Physical description
Statuette in limestone, the Virgin and Child. The Virgin is seated and supports the Child on her right knee with her right hand. The Child is clothes, and holds a bird(?). The drapery shows traces of colour and gilding but the surface of the stone is much worn and both heads are missing.
