Biscuit barrel of cylindrical shape, lead-glazed white earthenware barrel with metal mount, incurved base and shoulder, printed and painted with sprays of roses and leaves against a pale background shading to tan. Mark: 'WITH PEEK FREANS CO'S COMPLIMENTS' printed in brown and Fielding insignia of a crown and SF & Co. England also printed in brown; an applied square, indistinct & possibly the painter's mark in brown.
