Object history | Part of a group of objects (C.604-643) acquired from 'The Royal Commissioners for the 1851 Exhibition' (H.M.C. Loan No.75). Some of the other objects still retain information in the Registers as regards their H.M.C. loan numbers and information relating to their exhibition in the 1871 exhibition plus date of manufacture (1870). At the time of acquisition, it was recorded that this casserole had been made in Heimberg and given a date of about 1870. |
