Lithophane of hard-paste porcelain, moulded in intaglio with a scene in a cushioned railway-carriage. On the left a young woman sits knitting; in the middle an elderly man leans forward in conversation with a young officer, who is seen from behind sitting on the near side of the compartment. This design is after 'First Class', a painting by Abraham Solomon (1824-62).
