Pot pourri vase and cover of oviform shape with pierced shoulders, the cover handle formed by two oval rings raised to stand against each other. Porcelain with decoration painted in enamel colours and gilt, on either side landscapes with exotic birds in shaped panels reserved on a turqoise blue (bleu céleste) ground, and with gilt borders of foliate scrolls, floral sprays and trellis work engraved 'au clare'.
