Sugar basin of a depressed barrel-shape, with two moulded double-strand ring handles like goats' horns at the shoulder; with spreading lip, and roughly conical cover with bud-knob. The body lobed and moulded with scroll and leaf patterns. Decorated with flowers painted in natural colours, in borders with gilt edges, with rococo panels of gilt diaper, etc.
