Cream-jug of bone china painted with enamels and gilded. Oval with a swelling body, curving in at the neck, and the neck has upright sides, and with a flaring broad lip. Loop handle with a thumb-piece rising steeply from the rim and joining the body below its widest part. Decorated round the body consisting of eight panels framed by wavy pinks ribbons enclosing, alternatively, with flowers and leaves and a marbled pattern. Panels surrounded by a vermicule ground with a gold band top and bottom. Row of dots beneath. Neck with a border of gilt leaves. Foot, rim and handle also gilded.
