Slop basin of hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Decorated with two garden scenes with figures beside a monument, in the manner of Watteau, supported by rococo scrolls in blue and gold. One scene shows a gallant paying his addresses to a lady who is seated. In the other are two similar figures, the lady holding a guitar. The edge of the rim is slightly flaring.
