Inkpot of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels, gilded and moulded. Of depressed globular form, supported on three claw feet, and with a socket at the top for a well. Round the middle is a continuous corn-stalk with small birds, insects and sprays of foliage. The shoulder is moulded with four floral scrolls, separated by birds and a butterfly in gold.
