Sauce boat of hard-paste porcelain, moulded in relief, painted in enamel colours and decorated with gilding. Body in the form of a long shell supported on an oval foot. On either side is a handle in the form of a curved leaf springing from rococo scrolls coloured purple. The outside and the foot are painted with sprays of flowers. The edge is gilt.
