This was found in the mud at Bull Wharf, London, together with two other objects. It is probably a cheap imitation of the expensive necklaces in precious metals worn by the aristocracy at that time.

Double loop necklace of gilt brass wire, England, 1570-1600.
Physical description
Necklace made from thin brass wire, formerly gilt, looped together to form two strips of hollow tube. Each strip is decorated with sections of wire curls and rosettes, and there are three loose rings of braided wire keeping the two strips together.
