Sideboard. The carcase sits on four tapering legs which slope laterally. The outer sides of the legs are curved section, the inner sides are straight. The carcase is formed as a rectangular box. There are two hinged doors at either side of the front with a fall-front compartment in the centre of these. Below the fall-front are two drawers, one above the other. The doors are decorated with vertical grooves.
The top, back and sides of the carcase are mahogany-veneered birch ply. The structural parts of the internal carcase are solid mahogany and beech. The cupboard doors and fall-front are made from a laminated pine core veneered in mahogany. The drawer fronts, sides and backs, and the drawer handles, are solid mahogany. The drawer bases are birch ply. The top central drawer is fitted with a divider. This is made from birch ply covered in felt. The inside surface of the fall-front is laminated in formica.
